July 1, 2026– On the morning of June 30, 2026, a delegation from Management and Science University (MSU), comprising its President and Founder, Prof. Tan Sri Dato Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid; Vice Chancellor, Prof. Puan Sri Datuk Dr Junainah Abd Hamid; Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Indang Ariati Ariffin; Assistant, Mr. Jason Low Jin Poo; and Chairman of Shuifa Talent Group, Mr. Wei Guoqing, visited Shandong Xiehe University (SXU). Representing SXU at the meeting were President Mr. Chuanan Zhou, Vice President Mr. Huiji Xu, Vice Dean of the Medical School Ms. Shengnan Jiang, Director of the International Office Mr. Charlie Zhou, Deputy Director Ms. Betty Niu, and International Office clerks Ms. Anna Zhang and Mr. Danee Zhong.

      Prior to the meeting, President Prof. Tan Sri Dato Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid and his delegation toured the university’s National Medical and Nursing Laboratory Center, expressing high appreciation for the modern facilities and resources dedicated to nursing education and training. 

      During the symposium, President Zhou delivered a warm welcome address, after which President Mohd Shukri introduced MSU’s distinctive academic features and general profile. The two sides engaged in in depth discussions on potential cooperation in the medical field, covering exchange student programs, short term student visits, faculty mutual visits, joint training of rural doctors, and cooperative education models. Both parties reached consensus on cooperative matters and expressed their shared desire to pursue more substantive collaborations in the future, jointly advancing the internationalization of higher education at both institutions. 

      Following the talks, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation, formally establishing a partnership between the two universities.

      This visit by the MSU delegation further broadens the depth and breadth of cooperation between the two institutions. We are confident that with joint efforts, the collaboration will yield even more fruitful results.
