On June 18, 2026, Shandong Xiehe University (SXU) and Colegio de Muntinlupa (CDM) successfully held a virtual cooperation meeting. CDM President Dr. Teresita Fortuna and Dr. John Mark G. Payawal attended the meeting, while SXU was represented by Dr. Zhou Guangtao, Director of the Inter Office, as well as staff member Wang Xin.
      During the meeting, both sides presented their institutional history, educational strengths, and internationalization achievements. They then explored potential collaboration areas such as student exchanges, faculty mobility, joint research, short-term and summer programs, joint conferences, innovation and entrepreneurship programs, and cultural exchange activities. Preliminary consensus was reached on student semester exchanges, short-term faculty visits, and innovation and entrepreneurship education, with candid and practical discussions.
      SXU extended an invitation to CDM for a campus visit at a convenient time to further advance the partnership. Both sides agreed to expedite an implementation plan and formalize the cooperation at an early date. The virtual meeting built a bridge for collaboration. Upholding openness, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation, the two institutions will keep expanding new paths in educational cooperation and jointly cultivate high-caliber talents with international vision and cross-cultural competence.
       Colegio de Muntinlupa (CDM) is a local engineering and architecture college in Muntinlupa, the Emerald City of the Philippines. Founded by Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime R. Fresnedi, known as the "Education Mayor" , CDM focuses on applied talent cultivation, opens its doors to aspiring engineers, and has actively expanded international cooperation in recent years.
