On the morning of April 10, 2026, Shandong Xiehe University and Lapu-Lapu Cebu International College (LCIC) held a successful cooperation meeting attended by representatives from both institutions: Ms. Celia Wang, China Regional Marketing Manager from LCIC; and Mr. Charlie Zhou, Director of the Inter Office, along with Ms. Wei Na and Mr. Wang Zhe, Associate Deans of the Business School, and some other staff members from Shandong Xiehe University.

      During the meeting, Mr. Charlie first introduced the educational features and current status of international development at Shandong Xiehe University. Then Miss. Celia Wang provided an overview of LCIC’s current development, curriculum system, and international cooperation resources. She also addressed questions regarding accommodation, safety, and student visa procedures for students planning to study in the Philippines.

      Following thorough discussions, both parties reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation in semester-based exchange programs, short-term study programs, and faculty exchange programs. Key discussions also focused on curriculum alignment between our programs and the programs at the partner university with an emphasis on Tourism Management major and majors in Foreign Languages Department. Lapu-Lapu Cebu International College further extended an invitation for faculties from Shandong Xiehe University to conduct an onsite visit to the Philippines, facilitating deeper cooperation between two universities.

      The meeting laid a solid foundation for establishing a long-term and sustainable partnership between the two institutions. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to openness, inclusiveness, and mutual benefit, and expressed a strong desire to explore diverse models of international educational collaboration.
