On the morning of March 18, 2026, Shandong Xiehe University (SXU) and West Visayas State University (WVSU) successfully held an online cooperation meeting. Dr. Raymund Moreno, Dean of the College of Business and Management of WVSU, attended the meeting. SXU was represented by Dr. Zhou Guangtao, Director of the Inter Office, as well as staff members Wang Xin and Zhu Yifan.
      During the meeting, representatives from both universities introduced their respective development histories, institutional characteristics, and achievements in internationalization. Subsequently, the two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on multiple areas of cooperation, including student semester exchange programs, short-term study tours, faculty exchange mechanisms, joint scientific research, and academic resource sharing. Through amicable exchanges, the two sides reached preliminary consensus on the design of student exchange programs and faculty academic collaboration. They expressed their intention to further refine cooperation plans, facilitate the signing of agreements, and gradually establish a stable and pragmatic cooperative relationship, thereby building a broader international exchange platform for faculty and students and enhancing the internationalization level and talent cultivation quality of both universities.
      This online meeting laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two universities. Taking this meeting as an opportunity, both parties will uphold the principles of openness, cooperation, mutual benefit, and win-win outcomes, continuously strengthen communication and collaboration, jointly explore new pathways for educational cooperation, and work together to cultivate high-quality talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills.
