On the afternoon of March 12, 2026, Shandong Xiehe University successfully held an online cooperation negotiation meeting with the Philippines' Lapu-lapu Cebu International College. Attending the meeting from Lapu-lapu Cebu International College were Mr. Mark, American Teaching Director of the Language Center; Mr. Erwin, Filipino Academic Coordinator of the Language Center; Miss. Celia Wang, China Regional Marketing Manager; and Ms. Alyssa, Filipino Marketing Assistant for the China Region. Attendees from Shandong Xiehe University were staff from Inter Office, including the Director of the Inter Office, Mr. Charlie; Vice Director, Miss Betty ; Miss Anna , and Miss Danee.

       During the meeting, both sides first introduced their respective institutions' basic information and shared their current development and achievements in international exchange, education, and scientific research. The discussions focused on exploring the potential for cooperation between the two universities, with in-depth exchanges on collaboration directions such as short-term student exchange programs. Through thorough communication, both parties preliminarily exchanged constructive opinions on cooperation in areas including short-term student programs. To accelerate the cooperation process, Shandong Xiehe University extended a sincere invitation to the representatives of Lapulapu Cebu International College to visit in April, aiming to establish a normalized offline communication mechanism and promote deeper and more substantive cooperation. Mr. Mark, American Teaching Director of the Lapu-lapu Cebu International College Language Center, welcomed this invitation and clearly expressed a firm willingness to deepen cooperation.

       This online meeting has injected new momentum into the cooperation between the two universities. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, both sides will adhere to the principles of openness, inclusiveness, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation, continuously deepen their cooperative relationship, and move forward hand in hand in advancing the internationalization of higher education, jointly committing to cultivating high-quality talents with a global perspective and international competitiveness.

       Lapu-Lapu Cebu International College (LCIC) is a higher education institution officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines in 2021 and is actively pursuing collaborations with universities in China.Located in Lapu-Lapu City on the island of Cebu, Philippines, LCIC was established with a global perspective from its inception, aiming to provide quality education.
