Setting sail with full vigor, the Class of 2025 embarked on a new journey together at the Opening Ceremony and Military Training Commendation Conference, held on September 13 at Shandong Xiehe University's Guodian and Yaoqiang Campuses.
      The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Hu Hengji and attended by university leaders, including Party Committee Secretary Li Yufu, Vice Presidents Xu Huiji and Ding Xiangzheng, and Deputy Party Committee Secretary Yu Xiazhang. Also in attendance were heads of functional departments and secondary colleges, faculty representatives, current student representatives, and the entire Class of 2025.
      Prior to the ceremony, the Class of 2025 delivered a series of dynamic performances. Items such as waist drum dancing, group calisthenics, military boxing, and bayonet drills were presented in succession, highlighting the vibrant campus culture and spirited energy of Xiehe students.
      During the ceremony, Deputy Secretary Yu Xiazhang read the "Decision of Shandong Xiehe University on Commending Advanced Collectives and Outstanding Individuals in the 2025 Military Training." The university then honored the awarded units and individuals.
      The event concluded with all teachers and students waving national flags and singing "Ode to the Motherland."
