On the morning of April 7th, Dr. Adnan Mahmood from Macquarie University, Australia, visited SXU for an academic exchange purposes. Dr. Adnan Mahmood’s research interests include the Internet of Things (primarily, the Internet of Vehicles) and other fields, and he has given numerous speeches both domestically and internationally. Attendees at the meeting included Wang Qun, Vice Dean of the School of Computing Science and Technology, Hao Huikun, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering Science, as well as some researchers and faculty members from the two schools, and representatives from the International Office.
At the beginning of the meeting, At the outset of the meeting, the school extended a warm welcome to Dr. Adnan Mahmood. Subsequently, Dr. Adnan Mahmood provided an overview of Macquarie University and delivered a fascinating lecture titled “Trusting the Unknown – The Art of Trust Management in the Internet of Vehicles.” He delineated the convergence of the notion of trust with the IoV primarily in terms of its underlying rationale, offering unique insights into the Internet of Vehicles and sharing his latest research findings and academic perspectives. Following this, Dr. Adnan Mahmood engaged in in-depth academic discussions with faculty members from relevant fields at our university, exchanging views on shared academic concerns.
This exchange not only broadened the academic horizons of our faculty but also laid a solid foundation for future collaborations.
