On the afternoon of December 6, 2024, the online cooperation negotiation meeting between Shandong Xiehe University and Mari State University of Russia was successfully convened. The attendees included, from Shandong Xiehe University, the Director of International Office, Charlie, and assistants Anna, Alice, Evan; And from Mari State University,Ms. Natalia Kanashina, the head of the International Department; and Ms. Polina Petrova, the head of the Office for Recruiting and Adaptation of international students.
The meeting focused on exploring the cooperation between the two universities. Representatives from both sides shared the concrete condition of their majors and put forward constructive suggestions on the future direction of cooperation. Both parties agreed that academic exchanges and research cooperation between the two universities should be further strengthened. In addition, the two sides also had focused discussions on topics such as student semester exchanges, academic upgrading, and teacher visits. Both parties stated that they will actively promote the implementation of various cooperation plans and provide more opportunities for communication and development for teachers and students from both schools. At the end of the meeting, we sincerely invited representatives from the Mari State University to visit SXU in the near future, and they also expressed their expectations for visiting SXU.
The successful holding of this online meeting marks an important step in the cooperation between Shandong Xiehe University and Mari State University of Russia. Both sides will continue to deepen their cooperation and jointly promote the development of academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation, creating more opportunities and platforms for teachers and students .
