On the afternoon of September 14,2023, Dr. Elyxzur C. Ramos, President of the University of Makati in the Philippines, and his delegation visited the SXU, with the participation of Li Fengyan, Vice President of our SXU, Xu Yan, Associate Dean of Scientific Research of the School of Medicine, and relevant staff of the International Office.
       On behalf of the University, Prof. Li Fengyan, Vice President of the SXU, first extended a warm welcome to President Elyxzur C. Ramos and his entourage, and expressed his vision and deep expectations for the future in-depth cooperation between the two universities. Subsequently, President Elyxzur C. Ramos elaborated on the long history of University of Makati, the excellent discipline layout and research results, and the two sides conducted in-depth and detailed discussions on cooperation topics such as student exchange programs and teacher exchange programs, aiming to build a closer framework for educational exchanges and cooperation.
        President Elyxzur C. Ramos also extended a sincere invitation to the teachers and students of our university, and looked forward to more exchange opportunities in the future to promote the comprehensive integration and development of the two universities in the fields of academic, scientific research and culture.
        After the meeting, President Elyxzur C. Ramos and his delegation, accompanied by the staff of the Medical Experimental Center of Polytechnic University, visited the National Medical Experimental Center. The advanced facilities and rigorous scientific research atmosphere of the experimental center won high praise and appreciation from the delegation, and further deepened the understanding and recognition of each other's educational strength and scientific research level.
        The visit of the delegation from University of Makati in the Philippines not only deepened the friendship and understanding between the two universities, but also laid a solid foundation for the subsequent in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the fields of education, scientific research and international exchanges, and opened a new chapter in the cooperation between the two sides.
